How it works

The Trail Pace is similar to a hunter pace without jumps.

We will have various divisions so that you can complete the course at a pace that is comfortable for you and your horse. The trail is between 8 to 10 miles in length. The exact distance of the trail will be a “secret” to all riders. The riders coming closest to the pace time for their division will be the winner of the division.

You will have the opportunity to learn how to pace your horse’s “mph”. We will have people available to take courtesy pulse rates for your horse. You can find out what your horse’s pulse rate is at the beginning and end of your ride.
