Follow the Leader..... ?
Gen:33:14: Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant: and I will lead on softly,
according as the cattle that goeth before me and the children be able to endure,
until I come unto my lord unto Seir.
1. We submit to those who is over us and Look for them to lead the way.
We must be good followers to become good leaders....
1Pt:2:21: For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us,
leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
2. To lead softly is to lead at a pace that others can safely travel..
*we can preach and teach but we must allow people to live their own lives.
* (Don’t shove meat down a baby’s throat)
1Pt:2:2: As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
Mt:18:6: But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me,
it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck,
and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Ps:119:165: Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
Rom:14:21: It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine,
nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
Phil:2:12: Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed,
not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence,
work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
3. Repentance is always the message of Christ Jesus...
and will lead us to our Lord .....
Mt:4:17: From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Rv:7:14: And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me,
These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes,
and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. (Repentance)
7: 9: After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number,
of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne,
and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
We must follow and we must lead.
