One thing we need to do is READ and stay in the Word.
Mt:6:33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
When we put God first in our lives everything else just comes together.
Our Bible reading, our praying, our church faithfulness, and our obedience are
all ways we learn to put God first in our every day life. I recall a story of a
little girl and her grandfather. He was babysitting and trying to read the morning
paper as she continued to want him to play with her. Finally he took an old magazine
and tore a page out of it with a picture of the globe. He tore the page in many pieces
and handed it to the 4 year old along with some scotch tape and ask if she could put the
page back together again like a puzzle. As he went back to reading his paper he was
shocked when she returned in just a few minutes with the page put back together very
accurate. As he ask how were you able to put the broken world back together so quickly.
She smiled and said, "there is a picture of a man on the other side and when I put his
picture together the world came together also." When the grandfather turned the page
around he found the picture of Jesus.
When we put Jesus first in our lives, our world comes together also. I trust you will find time and put Jesus first in your life.
