beseech thee, shew me thy glory.....
Exodus 33 15: And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
18: And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. 19: And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee,
and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious,
and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. 20: And he said, Thou canst not see my face:
for there shall no man see me, and live. 21: And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me,
and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by,
that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:
23: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.
Moses had already seen the burning bush.........
He had already seen the Mighty hand of God in the clouds by day and fire by night
He had already watched as God separated the Red Sea and let Israel cross over on dry land.
Still he asks for proof that God is with him now........Are we not the same ....
All we experience in our lives yet we desire of God show me that you are with me now...........
At moments when we don’t feel spiritually strong we need to hear... He.13: 5: Let your conversation be without covetousness;
and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6: So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
1. The ability to see God’s glory depends on where you are standing... "there is a place by me,
and thou shalt stand upon a rock" to see God’s glory we must get close to God.....
"I will build my Church upon this rock"
Jms:4:8: Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts,
ye double minded. 9: Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning,
and your joy to heaviness. 10: Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord,
and he shall lift you up. 11: Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother,
and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law,
thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12: There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy:
who art thou that judgest another?
2. At times God is closest to you, You may be least aware of His presence... I will put thee in a clift of the rock,
and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by..... Ge.28 16: And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said,
Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.
3. It is possible to see God after He passes by.... will cover thee with my hand while I pass by We may not
recognize God many times until the trial is past. Looking back you will see that it was God that passed by,
kept you, helped you through it all... opportunities where there also... some you took some you left....
Looking back 20 / 20
Eph:3:21: Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Are you at a place today that seeing his Glory one more time may be all that is needed to lead you to victory...
That little bit of assurance... That soft touch of his Spirit.... Bow you head, close your eyes...
Seek His Glorious Presence upon you this morning....... Those who don't know Christ Jesus,
will never Know that wonderful presence.... seek and you shall find him today.
Hope God bless you-all,,,, all you-all...grinnnnn.
luv and prayers
