June 5, 2005 My son John began attending Montessori Early Learning Institute at 19 mos. I still vividly remember how much he loved to go to Martha’s class from almost the first day. With in weeks he began to come home singing songs, some in Spanish. I watched him blossom so quickly as he moved up from class to class. John was 3 ¼ when he started to read. He just amazed us day after day with the skills he was mastering in leaps and bounds. His has also become a very social child. He loves to play with his friends and he exudes self confidence. John is looking forward to moving on to first grade and all of the new experiences and friends ahead of him, but he has also told me how much he is going to miss everyone here. All of his teachers at Montessori have been so important to him, and I know have helped mold him into the extraordinary little boy he has become. I know that he has a lot of teachers ahead of him, but I also know that he will never forgot how much Montessori has meant in his life, My husband and I feel so good about the skills tat he is moving forward with. We know that we have given him the best possible head start. He enters the first grade with a third grade reading and mathematics level. We want to thank all of John’s teachers and all of the Montessori staff for nurturing and caring for our son. The staff here is all exceptional. The Montessori E.L.I staff has been so much more than a school, they have been a very special part of our lives. We will also never forget you. Sincerely, Karen & John |
